A project to establish the brand identity of arijian, a brand for traditional and artisanal interior
items was carried out. The task was to use materials such as lacquered ivy, mother of pearl and
pure gold to establish an identity for a brand that offers products that combine traditional
methods and a modern design. Moreover, there was a need to promote the fact that it is a brand
that re-creates traditional aesthetics to fit a contemporary lifestyle. Three basic circles that
stand for nature, mankind and arijian were used as a basic motif. The form of the circle was
expressed to bring out the texture of traditional materials to capture how tradition is brought
into a more contemporary style.
